2012 Spring Annual Membership Show
This is show opens March 2nd, 1st Friday with the opening 5-7 pm. David Grafton has consented to be our juror for this show. There will be a Best of Show, 1st-3rd place and at least 3 honorable mentions. There will be monetary awards for Best of Show and 1st-3rd place. The winner of Best of Show will have the month of September 2012 to design an art show for the gallery. It can be a one person, dual show, group show, etc. The member/artist that wins plans curates and provides the artwork. We at the center will help plan, promote and hang the show with the winner. The drop off time for the membership show is Feb. 29th, Wednesday from 2-5 pm. Each artist can show 3 new pieces of artwork. The work must be new and originally, never seen in the gallery before. Please make sure that all flat wall art is properly framed with a wire. All 3-d pieces come with a pedestal. The money is $10 if you cannot gallery sit and nothing if you do gallery sit. See you on the 29th of February and hoping for the full membership to be showing their work.
