TCVAC presents Kurt Plinke with a Plein Air Workshop
TCVAC is pleased to announce that we are sponsoring a Kurt Plinke plein air workshop this summer.
During a three-day class, participants will meet at TCVAC, and discuss the idea of the day. They will then travel to a nearby location to complete a watercolor on location.

HOURS: 9:00AM to 12 Noon each day
Location: Various locations in area
FEE: $190.00 for members --- $210.00 for non-members
Kurt Plinke has been painting with watercolors for almost 30 years. A well-known local teacher and nationally-known artist, Kurt is best known for his meticulous attention to detail, and his incorporation of abstraction and super-realism in his work. Kurt has taught and displayed his work at TCVAC. He has also exhibited at the Ward Foundation, and at the Easton Waterfowl Festival and many other locations.
All participants will need watercolor paints, watercolor brushes, watercolor palette, cardboard or painting board at least 11” x 22”, cotton rag, masking tape, #2 pencils, water container. Outdoor classes would also include a folding chair, a small folding table and/or watercolor easel.
Paper will be available for purchase @ $3.00 per sheet.
